Champion Blower & Forge – No.101 (my 3rd CB&F No.101).

I bought this post drill in March 2015. The seller lives in Whangarei, North Island, New Zealand. I won't collect it for several months.

This has been heavily modified, with the spindle modified to accept a modern chuck, flywheel replaced by a pulley, and auto-feed lever, crank arm, column & foot, and fork & table missing. I'm not sure why I bought it - I guess I've become an addict and needed another fix (I couldn't bear to see it thrown out, and thought a few parts might be useful for my other two No.101s).

Single-speed. Run of feed = 3 3/16"; dia. of spindle = 7/8"; crank gear has 46 teeth; spindle gear has 24 teeth; flywheel shaft gear has 20 teeth. Drills to the centre of a 12” circle.
