I picked this band saw from an older about 2 years ago. It had belonged to his father, possibly since new. It was mounted to a hand made wood stand and powered with a Sunlight 1/4 HP electric motor. After taking it apart I found that the paint on the saw was in pretty decent condition so I cleaned it with rubbing compound and waxed it to get to the way it now looks. I still haven't mounted it to a stand yet because I keep changing my mind as to what best to use.
