Craigslist find. Took about a month to finally hook up with the seller. Looks like it has been used a fair amount with moderate wear, and sometime in the past had a mild rebuild done. The previous owner kept all the small parts along with some repair parts that were never installed. It came with three spare sets of knives, with one being a carbide tip set, but NO molder knives.
So far I had to rebuild the magnetic start assembly and clean out the start/stop switch which was full of sawdust. Once that was cleaned up it started running like a champ. Next I replaced the top cover hinges, tightened a lot of screws, and cleaned up the steel deck. Once these tasks were done, I was able to run through a bunch of wood and made a big pile of chips. :) Just a note, I have heard that a lot of folks have problems with wood not feeding. I purchased a can of Bostik 10220 Aerosol Top-Cote which made a HUGE difference. Without this, I am quite sure that I too would have been having feed problems.
