I was introduced to the Walker Turner radial drill while serving as *Pattern Boy* in a foundry & patternshop while in college. The machine was added to my quest list right away and the following summer (1982) I pulled one home. Since that time I have searched for the modern Rockwell-version that boasted a 6" stroke, instead of the 4-1/4" the W-T delivered.

A fellow OWWMer had purchased this drill in Torrington, CT at a Rand Corp. auction and we made arrangements to swap the beast at a rest stop on the NJ Turnpike. The machine is in pristine condition and the only flaws are a few drill holes in the tee-slotted table. This retains the 16 speeds, too-- from 175 rpm to 8200 rpm, and also supports many of the newer delta accessories that interchange with the standard locking collar set-up.
