This bandsaw was given to me by my dad in 1998 or 1999. He worked for a school district. It was in an old building that was being torn down and the saw was going to be scrapped. The bandsaw was very rusty and the motor shaft would not spin at all. It appears that the saw had been in a few floods based on the rust on the bottom of the cabinet and the motor. I had this in storage for over 15 years before having the time and space to restore it. The date 1-7-75 is cast in main body just above the part number. The tag on this unit states "Power Tool Division, Rockwell International, Pittsburgh, PA, 15208, USA."
