I purchased this drill press recently long distance (from a CL listing), and it is slowly working it's way to me so I have not yet seen it in person. According to my friend Bill who picked it up for me, it is of a solid build, has a 3" O.D. column (3/8" thick walls), and is heavy for a slightly over-sized bench top DP (around 200 pounds). I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it and working it over!

According to the seller this DP was handed down to him from his Grandpa, but he doesn't know anything more about when or where Grandpa acquired it.

[ADMIN NOTE: We are conjecturing that this DP was made by Tiger Tools Inc. However we know close to nothing about that company at this time, and nothing more about this line of DP's than what you see on the decals on the pulley guard, so the similar names might just be a coincidence. Hopefully we'll learn more over time.]
