I inherited this piece from my father-in-law. He received this as a gift upon graduation from high school. At the time he already had a well stocked shop ( started when he was 10 years old). When I received this drill press I stripped it down and cleaned, lubricated and reconditioned the original Packard motor. In later years I added an auxiliary table to accept larger items. I've used it as you see it for the last 21 years. I recently purchased a multi-speed attachment to add to it. This is one of my favorite bench-top tools as I used it with my father-in-law for many years before he passed it on to me.
