A few weeks ago I stumbled onto this machine. I was reading my new Mr.Sawdust book, while doing some tuning on another saw. On page 23 he says if you ever run across a 14" saw buy it. Now the story, I was searching for some blades on CL. there was a guy that had 8 8" blades and he wanted 40.00 for, and just below his add was this add for a 15" radial sawmill. I opened it up and there it was. It has a 5hp single phase motor
I gave him 600.00 for the saw, he was holding a receipt for 475.00 for motor work he had just done. It does have a 15" blade, not sure if guard has been modified, I'll find that out later. The best part of that day was when I stopped by the guys house to pick up the 8" blades, he had a little 9'MBC in the corner of his garage he let me take, He saw the monster sitting on the trailer, and said he had a baby to that one. Did not even plug it in Just grabbed a dolly and loaded it on the trailer.
