I picked this up at a home in Tewksbury, MA that was being gutted. It was with other metal working machinery and was in unknown condition. It is a heavy unit for it's size but seems solid. I like the fact that it is wood and metal though it was obviously designed as primarily for metal given the basic tilting mechanism for the table. Luckily there is a manual for it here or figuring out how to switch the gears would have been difficult. It is nice that it doesn't have a gear box to wear out but, based on the manual, I wouldn't want to switch out the speeds frequently.
