Comments:
The machine has a hollow arbor into which the interchangeable dowel cutter heads are threaded. The heads each have 2 curved blades and a bugle-shaped opening in the end where square stock was fed by hand. What is missing is a round plate bolted to the upturned casting on the front, which had notches in it of different sizes to keep the square stock from spinning as it was fed. It is powered by a 3 1/2" flat belt. The bearings are babbit.

Comments: The upturned casting on the front held a round plate with square notches like a wrench that kept the stock from spinning. On the back side, opposite the name plate, is another brass plate that says "SHOP No. 112443"

Comments: This is the only cutter I have for the machine. It makes 3/4" dowels. There is a curved blade on each side, and it is threaded into the hollow arbor.
