Purchased this machine in Reading Ohio, which is just North of Cincinnati. Purchased it from a fine gentleman who said he got it from his child hood friend, who got it from his grandfather. The grandfather worked at/for Mercury Motors (maybe Outboard Motors). I tried a Google search for an Mercury Wooden Boat factory in Cincinnati, but couldn't find anything. If someone knows any history of Cincinnati, maybe you can shed more information on this saw. The saw has both tables, and a wooden blade "safety" on the rear of the saw. Its powered with a 3/4 HP motor which is monster. The lower blade guide is made of wood, and somewhere along the way someone made a rolling base for it.
