This was a C-list find. The replacement blue tires cost more than the machine's purchase price. It was a fairly easy restoration and was modified to accept any standard length blade during the rebuild. I also made it tip-over proof since these machine are top heavy. The addition of a brush to clean the lower drive wheel was added too. I also added a belt guard that was salvaged from a Delta sander. It looks like most of these machines came without belt guards. Getting your business caught in a belt pulley is no fun. These are nice smooth running machines and perfect for intricate work.

A simple set of carriers to make it more stable and put it on wheels. I also mounted the motor on springs with rubber tubing in the middle to allow belt adjustment and vibration damping. The lack of adjustment was always a problem on all of these stands.
