Comments:
This is not my tool.
I came across this unusual tool while researching another. It apparently functions as a grinder, anvil, drill/bore, vise and who knows. The patent drawing number provided by Joel indicated it was to be used as a lathe as well. There are three photo's from different sites showing different uses but the same tool. The name plate is unreadable.
(Historian's note: US Patent: 1,196,838)

Looking at the Patent drawing Joel provided the center table is an attachment to allow for drilling or boring (though no bit has been inserted in this photo.)
