This machine is owned by an acquaintance. The original owner was his grandfather. Since there are very few of these, I wanted to post photos here to help others who might run across one of these saws.
It has a good solid cast iron top and extension tables/wings. The fence is factory, and I think the miter gauge is also (the wing nut is in place of the original push grip/handle). Motor (factory 1-1/2 HP Emerson single phase 110 V only) extends out the rear. Couldn't get a good photo of the insides. It uses a flat belt rather than a V Belt. The blade guard wasn't with the saw at this point, but it might still be in hiding at Grandpa's shop. The cabinet is 6 sided (the side walls a V'd out), probably to add strength and rigidity to the cabinet.
If you look in the "Images" area of the Foley-Belsaw page on this site you'll find a copy of one of their magazine ads which includes promotional info about this saw.
Interesting machine!
(Admin BAK, 12/18/2014: The origin of this design is the Sprunger floor model 10¼" saw. Foley purchased the the tooling after Sprunger ended production in the 1980s.)
