Comments:
This saw was partially disassembled and missing parts when acquired in 2012 from a guy in Cary, NC. The missing parts included the lower wheel cover, cover brackets, and the 4 knurled handles used to secure upper/lower covers.
During initial cleaning I found "C.C.C" stenciled on the backside of the frame. Given the age/year of manufacture, it's possible this machine was purchased for use by the Civilian Conservation Corps. An alternative but less likely attribution is the "Carolina Country Club" in Raleigh, NC. I've since located a replacement lower cover and the handles and plan to get it up and running.
