Online auction purchase that was located in Sunapee, New Hampshire. The ad stated: "This is being sold AS IS for parts or repair." To my good fortune the molder arrived at my residence complete with no missing parts. It is an early Williams & Hussey hand feed model W7 Molder/Planer. Note there are two additional drive screw holes located just below the Manufacturer's tag. This suggests it sold just after Williams & Hussey ran out of the earlier tags stating: "SOLD BY WARDON INDUSTRIES - KEENE N.H."
Note there are 4 holes in base plate located front and back just above the feet. Anyone know what they were intended for? I asked W & H this question and they didn't seem to know for certain. They guessed they were meant for tie downs during shipment. I believe they served a different purpose since the holes in feet can be used for tie downs.
