Acquired this sander from a buddy of mine. His dad was a very talented patternmaker in the Toledo, Ohio area, and this was one of his many machines. I made a simple stand for it to sit on, as well as some sandpaper mandrels of different diameters, and put it back into service. It uses a very simple design to oscillate the spindle up and down, and the table tilts for other than 90 deg. sanding. All but one of the original sanding mandrels are long gone, but luckily it's a simple matter to turn wooden mandrels of any diameter needed, boring a hole through it, and wrapping it with sandpaper. Works great - Any info on this old sander is appreciated.
