Comments:
This saw was bought in hopes that the wife could use it for some wood crafts. I think I paid about $50-$75 bucks for it. It was disassembled, sandblasted, painted and reassembled. Several parts needed to be repaired, and a belt/pulley cover and set of drawers were made for tools and blades. As you may notice, I took a lot of liberties with the decals and badging, as NONE are original or exactly correct. The brass plunger on the driven pulley is a mechanism that greatly reduces the time it takes to do a blade change or to thread the blade through the work. This saw is capable of doing fine and intricate work, but will also hog through very thick hardwoods with little effort. The one drawback I notice on these saws is that the table support seems a little week. I did a couple things to stiffen up the table support trunnions, which helps somewhat. This saw did come with the original light and switch, which I guess is kind of hard to find.
