Comments:
I found this in Denver on CraigsList. The machine is in excellent condition, with a scant oil leak as the only visible defect. No missing teeth on the trunnion. PO built a spindle rack which also serves as a motor shield.
I am uncertain as to the vintage. The machine was offered essentially unchanged from 1938 until the 60s or later. The only external change I can see is the table tilt crank was a single lever until some time in the 60s, when it became a wheel, like this one. But in the 60s the base became closed and the decal on the base became rectangular. This one has a round decal and an open base. So, I don't know when it was built and I am hoping someone who knows can refer me to a catalog that shows this machine.
