A buddy of mine mentioned to me recently that he has an old planer sitting under a pole barn at his sawmill. Told me I am welcome to it if it is something I would be interested in tinkering with knowing that I like that sort of thing. Went out to see what he had and discovered this Oliver 399. Apparently belonged to the city of Opelika, Alabama once upon a time and his dad bought it at a liquidation auction years ago. Well it is sitting in my garage now waiting for restoration. Hope I can bring her back to life.
