I found this Red fox 12" by 4" Partington Planer being sold in florida on the internet. I live in Chicago, so it was a long haul to retrieve and get it home in one weekend. A big thank you to R. Baisdon for holding it for me. It was a pleasure to meet him and his wife and to see his collections! This machine is in like new condition, I am not sure that this planer surfaced more than twenty boards in its life time. Original paint, (gold pin-striping) still exists on the fly wheel covers, original red fox decal and paint on the front plate castings. Original motor and wiring and switch. Original metal base to space motor from planer. Low serial number of N340. A large "MASTER" made motor.... Possibly a museum piece!! Mr. Baisdon included two extra sets of Knives in there original package as well. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to own and use this machine!!
