I bought this table saw in the 1960's (used for $35) It's a Wards Powr-Kraft, 8 inch, mounted on an old typewriter table with flip up/down side tables. Thanks from other OWWM members research, here is further information: Wards listed their Beaver saws in their 1950-51 catalog. My saw was made in Canada by Beaver Power Tools, only sold on the Wards Powr-Kraft label in 1953-54, and in 1956-57 Wards then bought out another line of saws and discontinued the Beaver Power Tools relationship. Evidently the Beaver saws carried a Model # of CS-2200, which looks exactly like the saw I have, only the I.D. Badge says BEAVER instead of POWR-KRAFT. It's been a good reliable saw through the years. Ripping 2X4's is a slow process and patience is required but it does it. It still has the Wards Powr-Kraft 1/2 hp. 1725rpm motor that works good. Proves to me that the Canadians knew how to build good quality, solid, made to last power tools. Looking at the tools of yesterday and what we have today, shows how manufacturing principals have changed over the years. And Yes, technology in materials have made a difference in portability of machines, which has helped the construction businesses move their machines to the job sites. But are they as reliable? That answer could conjure up a whole new discussion. Got any questions? Shoot me a messg and I'll try to answer it. 02-11-2020 Doug L. Thank you for your Inquiry and questions, sorry I couldn't help you more with the info you requested. Good Luck with your Project.
