I bought this band saw from the original owner's son up in Poteau Oklahoma back in 2002. He had a very nice lot of Craftsman machines he was selling off that were all in excellent original condition his Dad had bought brand new at the Sears Store in Tulsa Oklahoma.
This Model 100 12" band saw is painted in the "Powder Bronze" color (original PB paint is on this band saw covers)and came on the optional pedestal cast iron stand with steel ball casters, optional belt guard, rip fence, miter gauge, and the original 1/2-HP 1750 rpm Craftsman/Packard 115 motor that is dated 1/1958.
The Craftsman badge plate is still like the earlier King-Seeley "Heritage" style design shape and reads "Guaranteed Highest Quality".
Update 05/03/2020: I stripped down and repainted the original pedestal stand and band saw base support mounts which were slightly rusting from under the paint. Also restored the original Craftsman motor with the brown cast end housings and powder bronze center band which the previous owner had mounted to the Craftsman sander I bought also. Added a new 3 wire grounded cord, metal box with toggle switch, and NOS 1.5" machined steel 5/8" motor pulley. I also had to repaint the original optional belt guard and mounting bracket in a matching powder bronze color. I am uaing a 3/8" wide Timber Wolf blade on this saw.
