I did a complete restoration for a customer friend in the Houston area to be used in his yacht carpentry business cutting curves in teak wood. This band saw was in pretty good shape when I got it and was originally on a Craftsman cast pedestal style stand. I've owned and restored several of these Craftsman 100 band saws in the past and they do a very nice cutting job as designed.
Installed new upper USA made bearing and rubber tires, new die cast 5" drive pulley and all new electrical with a hand made switch box mount that is higher up on the side body. Also made new cold rolled steel blade guide to replace the original "Oilite Bronze" worn out guides and I also added a lower tire brush. I also restore a nice vintage GE 1/3-HP 1725 rpm motor with cast iron bell housings and a 5/8" drive shaft to be used with this band saw.
