I traveled by this house several days of the week,there were two lathes sitting outside of his garage,one day I spoted the owner taking out his trash,I asked him if they were for sale,his reply was to take them.One was a Yates American,the other a Brodhead Garrett,both identical .I kept the Brodhead Garrett(better shape)and sold the Yates to a member here,lots of rust from sitting outdoors,the lathe cleaned up very nice,Still needs a bit more work as you can see in these pictures ,I just found ,these are some older pictures ,Gene
