Comments:
I sold my modern Rigid 14" band saw to fund finishing a few other projects. The Rigid was just too big for my small shop for as often as I used it. I found this one on Craigslist out in the middle of no where Wisconsin. I had to slow down a few other restoration projects after the 150 Craftsman drill press due to some health issues. But I made time to finish this one. I have to set up a mini-shop in a little room in my basement for the next few months over winter. Moving some select tools down there including this saw. I'd like to find a matching base, but for now the modern craftsman stand will work for what I have in mind.

If you happen to know of a source for replacement thrust wheels for King Seeley built band saws feel free to contact me.

Comments: As I bought it. No base or motor. Bearings were in excelent shape. Was only missing the rear plate bearing. Otherwise the condition of the paint was terrible due to storage.

Comments: The wheel covers were shot. Cool blocks will need to be replaced as well.

Comments: Finally got to working on this piece this weekend. Tore it down and started restoring it. After years of using plain old battle ship gray I've been drawing color inspiration from vintage tractors for my most recent projects. This one's Ford blue

Comments: I'd love to have a vintage base for it. But other things are needed to be addressed first.
