Found this band saw at a garage sale. It had obviously been stored in a damp basement for years, and at some point the basement had flooded to at least the depth of the motor. It cleaned up surprisingly well considering all its been through, and as anyone who owns one of these saws knows, it's hard to find a better band saw on the planet than an old Delta 14".
All 6 bearings were obviously seized up, and managed to find reasonably priced Made in USA bearings on Amazon. It would have been a shame to put China bearings in it, as these vintage machine deserve better IMO.
