This saw was listed on CL in my area. I am rather fond of power bronze anything so it came home with me. The saw was in the basement of a soon to be demolished house. The son of the recently passed father was emptying the house to settle the estate. He sent "a lot" of items to the scrapper before I got there. As I was breaking down the saw for transport, I uttered the famous line "what else do you have"? I came out of the whole deal with this saw, a RAS, 12' band saw, an AMT 4" jointer, and a Double A lathe, along with 3 buckets of hand tools. And an extremely early Craftsman repulsion induction motor. (see my entry on that)
The father was an accomplished carpenter and well known tool horder. I got the last of it.
This came on a pedestal base
2 wings
Deluxe Miter
Fence and nice rails
3/4 hp motor that runs
and the zamak gear is in great shape!
I looked pretty hard, but did not find the blade guard.
