Comments:
When I bought this from the son of the original owner, it had no stand, no banjo, clutch missing, and no tool rest. The spindle pulley is not original equipment and the motor pulley does not match the steps, though it is close enough that I can use it.

The nonstandard spindle pulley had setscrews bearing on the spindle. The pulley had a keyway, so I cut a Woodruff key seat in the spindle. The pulley is now driven by a key.

I build the oak stand, fabricated the banjo and under-bed clamp/wheel, and put a newish Delta rest on it. I also index drilled the spindle pulley and rethreaded the spindle nose to 1" 8tpi (thread cut right into the original 1"-16 tpi). I replaced the 1/2 hp Craftsman motor with a newer 3/4 hp, only because the Craftsman needs a capacitor (rectangular) and I had a spare 3/4 hp.

Lathe is nice and quiet.
