This bench saw was given to me by a friend who got it from his grandpa when he passed away. It sat for quite awhile, and just recently I put all the parts together (table extensions, etc.) and got the motor working. The table insert that was with the saw may not be the original - had to cut and file the opening so the saw blade would clear. Unfortunately, the arbor cannot be tilted all the way to a 45 degree angle as it hits the insert, hence my thinking this is not an original insert. (Would love to find original inserts for it; a total of three, I think - a kerf, dado, and sanding insert)
I am hoping to start using the saw on a regular basis for some projects I have in mind, but not until I get it tweaked as close to accurate as possible considering the age of the saw.
