Circa 1905 J. A. White Dover swing saw in the collection of OWWM member David Lamb. This is the longest of several sizes they made. At nine feet from jackshaft to arbor this is quite a machine, adapted for mills with high ceilings. Note the original company serial number "6791" stenciled on the frame. David has an incredible collection of New Hampshire made machinery with a focus on the products of White and his predecessors and successors. He's looking for white machinery not in his collection as well as any trade catalogues or other ephemera.
