Got this from an antiques store that was way too far away (a little town in East Texas), but I really wanted this model for my project. No other history on it.
I was inspired by the Rat Rod movement in the car clubs. The frame was stripped and clear-coated with a matte finish. This is the first time I used flat black and I really like it. I let the bolts for the covers go rusty as a nod to the rat rods. The hub caps are for toys and wagons
The light is for bicycles but I had to convert it to operate off a 6 volt plug-in power supply.
The Stand was made to mimic some of the great radiator shells of the 30's. I removed the badge from the top of the saw and inlaid it at the top of the radiator shell. It was a lot of fun to build.
