I received this 24" Scroll Saw - Model 40-440 from a fellow OWWMer in trade for a Model 700 Scroll Saw that I had bought at his request in my area for $50. I was heading down his way the following week so I ruckered it to him and we made the exchange in a parking lot. I think I got the better end of the deal but I find that this is not that unusual with the people I have had interactions with from the OWWM community.

For my $50 investment, picking up the 700 which was all of 15 minutes from my house, and about 6 hours of driving, I received a fully restored 40-440 with a retirement light, variable speed attachment, belt guard, 1HP original Delta motor, and an original stand. He even provided me the tubing to redo the blower! The scroll saw is in mint condition and I couldn't be happier.
