This was listed on craigslist the previous day and was surprisingly still there. Not sure what year it is but is very well made considering. Runs very smoothly and quietly. It is one of those tools that does a few things poorly but nothing well. Just the same I have the perfect use for it here so grabbed it up without making an offer. Based on the other two listed on this site it did come with a jointer attachment also. Not sure if this one came with that as it has the cover for the shaft there. I did try threading a chuck on this shaft for the jointer and it worked well. Probably won't rip much 2" oak with this saw but what a gem. I am going to try a cut off blade in place of the saw and use it for very fine grinding I might have to do. The disk sander works great for sharpening my tig tungstens. I took off the wire wheel and put on my rubber expander wheel with trizac belts. I took the belt off for the saw unless I need it. That way I won't have to worry about dipping into my bandaid supply!

Here it is after a few tweaks and a bit of polish and wax. Beautiful unbutchered hard to find vintage patina. This runs very quietly especially now that I have unhooked the belt to the saw blade.

When I added the expander wheel I had to remove the rest... I hate doing that. In the event of my untimely demise this hard to find part could get lost. Will likely label this piece and stick it to the back somewhere with rare earth magnets.

Since this had the cover over the shaft for the jointer attachment I am thinking this one might have been sold/ordered without the jointer?

I freshened up the sand paper on the disk and it works great. I have a system for doing my tig tungstens on it and it works very well. Shown here just after getting home and the saw belt still on.

One weirdball machine but would beat using two rocks to cut the odd small board!
