I picked this up at an antique shop in Grafton IL along the historical River Road. The seal on the grinder is one of those used by IH on their farm implements. It works perfectly.

The wing nut on top controls the slide to engage or disengage the cam. When engaged the turning of the hand wheel results in the grinding wheel arm to rise and fall to sharpen the sickle saw.

The IH seal is on the left encircled in a "C" representing the Chicago area factory. The KZ133 and KZ139 are, I'm assuming, parts numbers.
