CList find. Very early model-Elgin lathe. Made in the earliest part of the 20th century in Elgin Illinois. Been looking for this for awhile, or one like it. Much dedicated time on the computer while family is watching america's biggest looser, or something like that. Anyway...fitted with a (4C) cataract collet system. Cataract later became hardings I think?? A Quick release chuck that 3 jaw chuck slots in. Came with a three jaw chuck, tool rest, 35 collets, stock centering device and many other tooling parts. Motor is from the "Square D" factory of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Leather belt variable speed cone pulleys. is in. This was found in an airplane hanger in "Kenosha" Wisconsin. The PO restored vintage airplanes, very interesting gentleman who has tons of experience. He was selling off some of his equipment. The machine is in as found condition and needs no restoration. Hurrah!!!!
