I got this for free from a friend! He had bought a house and in the backyard was a very old man who had a siding and awning shop in the former two bay garage of the house. This man and his partner ( the original owner of the house) had gone into business together right after they returned from WWII. When my friend bought the house, this old gentleman thought it was time to retire and gave everything in the shop to my friend lock, stock , and barrel! My friend is not tool friendly so he offered me whatever I wanted. I got the bandsaw and an early 50's Dewalt radial arm saw!
I am very excited about the badge, which shows it is a Sprunger Bros. of Topeka, INDIANA ( thanks Alan Goebes (from Indiana)!) which would make it older than I had thought before I read the history on this very fine website! It is in excellent working condition and I use it just about everyday.

The motor is a Rockwell model # 62-142 which is almost certainly a replacement. You can see the only paint wear in this picture.
