Their "Homecraft" series is better quality I think than many new "Professional" models. These are very heavy, well made machines. One drawback is the top heaviness makes them prone to tip over. This one hit the floor a couple of times before I acquired it from C-list. Tripping over the cord, or swinging the table to one side with a heavy vise can topple them. I added a wide Oak base to make this one more stable. It's probably a good idea to bolt them down if possible, but I bought this one to be portable around the machine shop.I also rewired the "retirement" light into the motor switch to get rid of the extra cord.I hate to see good usable machines cannibalized on eBay, but at the same time, this one was beyond hope without replacement parts. The table was a pin cushion and the head was broken for the second time and the broken piece was missing.

A keyless chuck is a must, plus the spindle insert interchanges with other models.
