Comments:
I received this saw from my father-in-law. He got it as part of a business transaction. Its early history is unknown. It runs well and cuts smoothly. Rick Brucken identified the saw for me as a Walker-Turner. It shows up as a new item in the OWWM's 1936 WT catalog. It does not show up in OWWM's 1940 WT catalog. I have the guard (dang thing grabs my stock and pinches more than it splits!). The stops for the miter are missing but the main body is there. The counter-weight is also missing (I REALLY miss it). The motor may or may not be original. I just can't tell. The snap switch has been moved to a more convient place, but appears original.

I had to have a machine shop weld and repair the threads where the "jack shaft" lifts the mechanism. Could anyone tell me the approximate value of such a machine in "good" shape?
