Purchased at a flea market in May 2014 for $25. The machine was cosmetically in poor shape but all the major parts were there. After thoroughly cleaning it, scraping the table to remove the rust, replacing the upper pulley bearings and fabricating a belt guard and platten, the machine is up and running. After using it on a couple of projects, it's hard to believe I've managed without one all these years! It does a great job deburring, sharpening, and shaping both wood and metal parts. I posted a copy of the manual for this machine here: http://www.vintagemachinery.org/pubs/detail.aspx?id=6693
P.S. The machine can use both 1 X 42 and 1 X 44 belts. The only restriction is that you can't do inside sanding with the 42" belt.
