Talked to Sarah at Yates American and she said that this saw was manufactured in 1940 and originally sold to a machinery dealer in Seattle, WA in early 1941. I obtained it from a used machinery/scrap dealer just outside Missoula, MT. He had had the saw for many years. He bought it at surplus auction from Boeing in Washington.
