This machine appears to be identical to the more common Delta Rockwell model 23-201 but is badged as a Walker-Turner. Its a 3450 RPM model.
I acquired this grinder from my local used tool store. It was non-operational due to a missing motor start capacitor which probably failed due to a sticking centrifugal switch and/or other wiring issues. I disassembled it to fix the centrifugal switch and replaced the starting cap (161-193 mfd, 125VAC) as well as much of the other wiring due to dried out and cracked insulation. I also replaced the original 25T7DC (25 watt) bulbs (2 were burned out) with 15T7DC (15 watt) bulbs. It runs great now.
It had seen little use and still has the original Rockwell grinding wheels. The paint is original and in decent condition although the bottom of the cast iron stand either sat in water or was on a damp floor as it has some rust. I plan to use it as is for now as I've got other OWWM projects requiring far more attention.
