Comments:
Picked up this jointer last fall, but hadn't gotten a chance to start working on it until recently. This is probably one of the more complicated tear downs I've done. Lots of little pieces that all need to be cleaned up. Going with a two tone color scheme this time. I've been trying to keep with period colors, but something a little more fun that just industrial grey (with out going too crazy). The real work is going to be cleaning all the rust off of the 3 boxes of bolts and mechanical parts that came off the beast. Will add more pictures as the restoration progresses.

Update 5/12/2018

So a couple notes for other folks working on restoration: The shims that hold the fence appear to be some form of very porous metal. This alloy is very sensitive to anything even mildly acidic. Best to keep these components away from any sort of evap-o-rust. Mine melted to the point where I had to pick up a second machine as a donor.
