Owned by my great grandfather and stayed in the family. The only info I can find on this was posted by someone else on another site. Here's what I copied.

We call this a post drill, because it was typically mounted to a post. And its not considered a press since it has no lever feed. The 1896 catalog has the No. 61 which is may be the precursor to the 611. The one item to help narrow the date a little further would be the use of ball bearings for thrust between the feed screw and the spindle. If they are present then the drill was made after about 1908. Not sure when they stopped making it, could be into the 1930's.
