This saw was given to me by a good friend. He got it off CL and previous owner said it was from 1958. I did nothing to it except clean, lube and mount it. The 1/3 HP motor just hangs from an eye-bolt hinge arrangement but it runs smooth and cuts like a whizz! The brown cast iron base is Navy surplus and originally supported a dog tag lettering machine.
