This was my grandfather's jointer. He used it for many decades in his home shop. He lived just outside of Kalamazoo, Michigan (home of Atlas Press Co.) His shop was in a lean-to addition on a turn-of-the-century carriage barn. The switch, chip bin, mobile base, and hinged motor mount were his contributions. As my daily jointer is much larger, I have allowed this machine to gather some dust and rust, but it is still quite restorable.
