Comments:
This grinder came all the way from sunny California, thanks to Bill Nance. It was the mainstay grinder throughout the '60's , and Rockwell marketed it alongside the Delta designs until about 1970 or so. This grinder is missing the original switch plate which would have helped date it, but I believe it to have been made before the transitional period ( 1960-63) when most products were dual badged Porter Cable/Rockwell.
The grinder has a Wissota-ish feel to it, design wise.I am using it for wire brush/scotchbrite wheel duties until I find an appropriate set of eyeshields and toolrests, and I'm pleased to say that it is a strong, smooth grinder worthy of its brand name.
