This is my second "Four Footer", the first was sold with other equipment in summer 2013 to lighten the load when our family moved.
I found this particular saw on Craig's List where I probably paid more than I should have; I felt justified considering the shape it is in. The saw came from the University of Kansas Medical Center's maintenance department where it was very well kept. A service tag on the arbor bracket indicated that maintenance was "Serviced With PRIDE by Rockwell Technicians". It appears they changed the belts, bearings, and installed a new 2HP 3-phase motor that did not require the cabinet to be cut.
The cabinet has never been drilled for a "goose egg" motor cover, but someone did a nice job adding a dust collection port that I think I'll clean up and keep. It does have the solid dust door which is even rarer than a FFU. The saw came with a UniFence, which I'm not sure I'll keep. The top is in nice shape.
The seller included a boat load of extras, saw blades, two dado sets, a UniGuard blade guard, a few dozen shop made throat plates, arbor wrenches, anti-kickback wheels, etc.
I plan to give it the full treatment when time allows. I would like to find a nice single phase bullet motor and electricals to make this saw whole.
