2/7/14 - Bought this from Schmeling Lumber Supply in Rockford Illinois. This machine was in the companies mill work shop. One of the owners (in his late 60's) said he remembered the machine when he was a small child. It was in continuous use until 1994 when the original shop closed. It sat unused for 20 years until my opportunity came to purchase it.

It has a modern belt pulley that replaced the drive and loose pulleys that originally powered the machine. All the normally missing parts were still on the machine, collet door, and hold down clamp. The only thing that I could find missing were the material stop arms.

Using the information to decode the manufactured on date here the shop # works out to 1919.

This will most likely just get a good cleaning and oiling and put to use.
