I bought this drill from an online ad in Hamilton Ontario. A friend picked it up for me and I got it at his place in Aug 2012. It is badged by H W Petrie, Toronto, who we think did not make any of the machines he sold. The only clue to its manufacturer is the catalogue cut that appears on www.machineryscans.com, where it is credited to Schumacher. It is 39" high, with a 3" stroke, and drills to the center of a 16" circle. It has 2 speed pullies that have round bottomed grooves for rope or round leather belts, rather than vee-belts. It appears to be covered with cement dust. Someone has tried to increase the stroke by adding a link (not well throught out) between the handle and the vertical bar in the linkage.
